Penguins' Physical Descriptions

Body Covering- Stay warm with a thick layer of blubber and a waterproof body covering. Also, their feathers overlap on the skin; this helps them keep water off the skin.

Size and Weight- Varies depending on specific type.
Largest: Emperor Penguin- which is about 4 feet tall and weighs around 70 pounds.
Smallest: Fairy Penguin, which is 16 to 17 inches tall and weighs 2 pounds.

Extraordinary Traits- All adults are countershaded (dark on back, white on underside). Also, they have wings shaped like flippers, which male them swim up to 15 mph.
