Penguins are very interesting animals. They are one of the world's only flightless birds, yet they are still loved. Penguins are aquatic birds, and they live in the Southern Hemisphere, particularly in Antarctica. Oddly enough, not all species live in cold places. The Galapagos Penguin lives near the equator. Penguins are very much adapted to the life they live, both in and out of the water. Over time, their wings have become flippers, making them flightless.
